CSR is dirty linen..

feeling guilty of your business ?  that it is not reaching out to common good ? that others perceive you as greedy corporate animal ? good....!!  then the new management spiritual manthra is CSR... ! That's what it has come to. Companies clamour to highlight their contributions to society through CSR initiatives. Instead why cannot business itself be run for community good ? Business should be for community and should stand for people..in each step from resource utilisation to product pricing to after sales service.. You dont need a CSR initiative if you do things with a real concern for people in house ie employees and outside - ie community.
